Remember that warm metals like gold, bronze, and copper pair well with warm shades like red, brown, and yellow. Conversely, cool metals like chrome and silver match with cool shades like blue, green, and violet.

Decorate the room with only the essentials in a minimal style and in light wood tones. Avoid very bulky items, as they take up a lot of space and ultimately darken the room.
