Energy efficiency, energy cost, supply issues, addressing climate change, and optimal utilization of renewable energy sources are the main factors for a rational energy policy from the perspective of the European Union and at the same time the starting point for setting specific goals towards a safer and more competitive energy system.

This book examines in detail the entire mechanism of the energy policy of the European Union, critically analyzes the institutions, committees, and organizations involved in it, describes the current situation, and refers to the future strategy, which extends until 2050.
