[...] To help our brothers who are struggling between our traditional Orthodox faith and these Eastern doctrines, we publish in this book the testimonies of some of our fellow human beings who were faithful to these doctrines and abandoned them because they found the fullness of truth in the Orthodox Church and faith.

They are reliable because they were advanced members with great experience of these religions and their methods and promises, without finding in them the satisfaction of their desires. The seemingly novel aspects of Eastern doctrines may attract, but close acquaintance with them disappoints. When a person sincerely seeks God, God will reveal Himself in the person of Jesus Christ alone, as happened with the authors of the articles published in this book. [...]
