Description

Tatiana, at the age of eighteen, manages to escape to the West after the siege of Leningrad. The child she is expecting will never know its father, as she believes herself to be a widow. Her husband, Major Alexander Belov, a decorated hero of the Soviet Union, has been captured by Stalin's notorious secret police.
Tatiana begins a new life in America. In New York, during the war period, she finds a job and new friends, continuing her life. However, she is unable to escape her anguish, as she is haunted by the memory of Alexander.
Meanwhile, he is trapped in Russia. Alexander is American, but he served in the Red Army and pretended to be a Soviet citizen to protect himself. For him, the war continues, and whether Russia wins or loses, he will face death. Tatiana and Alexander have to fight against fate and despair as they struggle for their lives.

Through the clash of two worlds, an unparalleled love story emerges.

The second book by the author. A continuation of the first stunning one, also emotional and I guarantee you will cry here, not as much as we cried of course in the first one. The trilogy is my top
