This international edition is the most updated article interpretation of the "Inheritance Relations" Regulation, which is carried out for the first time by Greek authors in the English language, in collaboration with the Legal Library and the publishing houses C.H.Beck, Hart, and Nomos.

The Regulation EE 650/2012 on Inheritance Relations of July 4, 2012, is a fundamental and ambitious Regulation, as its 84 articles cover almost all aspects of international inheritance relations. Specifically, it regulates issues of international jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions, as well as cooperation between the authorities of the member states. The "Inheritance Relations" Regulation is also innovative in terms of the solutions it introduces (proessio juris, escape clause mechanism, etc.). The European inheritance certificate is also significant in practice.
