Good product for connecting a computer to an old audio system with RCA connection through an HDMI port. However, the purchase was in vain because it doesn't work for my Smart TV and the audio system I want to connect. Pay attention to the labels on your TV's inputs. If the HDMI ports are labeled as "in" and the optical port as "out," then the device won't work!

I have connected the Xbox to the computer monitor via HDMI and at the same time to the stereo via RCA. And so, I get the image from the computer monitor and sound from the stereo. Nothing complicated. You just connect the cables and everything works straight away. I have had it for about 6 months and it works flawlessly.

I tried it with Google Chromecast on a 55-inch television and a Yamaha stereo from the 25-year-old era, and it seems to play perfectly.
