The work of Ernst Ziller is a milestone in the architectural history of our country. The architect from Saxony, a student of Theophil Hansen, who decided to permanently settle in Greece, created many unique buildings in the spirit of neoclassicism and eclecticism, which left an indelible mark on Athens and many other cities, during the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
In this edition, fifty works of various categories (mansions, houses, shops, markets, banks, schools, theaters, monuments, temples, etc.) are presented, with the aim of becoming known to the general public.
