This year we celebrate! And for our 25 years, we chose this short text by Antorno. A few words about us and about this choice of ours.

The mark that the island, the EMEA and the locals give is a demanding mark. That of a mutual commitment, a common work for common interests; for texts that require unlocking, require alertness and intellectual responsibility, texts that provide maximum enjoyment but not just by viewing, not with the first unsuspecting glance, texts that make the reader their co-producer from the beginning. Therefore, we claim your choice as partners, as members of a community that judges and controls offered goods: information and arguments, thoughts and plans, interpretations and problematics, narratives and constructions.

The current conditions are critical. They are conditions of neutralizing publicity as a condition of democracy. Conditions that are transitional for democracy itself. With the enemy in the foreground, with Auschwitz seeking deniers if not justifications. Democracy has no other means than argument, education, and training in its own principles. It has only the power for reflection, for self-determination, for non-conformity, as Antorno defines the Kantian mandate of autonomy in this text.

And it was time to come out in Greek, it is its time. With such conceptual tools we work and with such arguments we invite you to trust us in the future.
