I have not conducted network speed measurements. Nor do I have an opinion on the reliability of the product as it was installed a few days ago. It was installed very easily - simply connect the network cables and power supply. So far, no issues at all.
The naming of TP-Link models is a big mess. Same model name but many versions (v5, v6, v7, v8, etc.) that can ultimately be different products, with unrelated photos. I received this specific TL-SG1005D v8 when I had ordered the TL-SG1005D v6. In the v8, the LEDs on the front have disappeared compared to previous versions (always with the same model name), so when you have it on your desk, you don't know how many and which devices are connected. The material on the top is glossy plastic that gets fingerprint marks just by touching it once, and it scratches very easily. Because the device is very lightweight, it tends to lift due to the weight of the cables connected to the back. If possible, buy a switch with a metal casing that is heavier and more sturdy. If none of the above (which also applies to the TL-SG1008D v8) bother you and you won't be seeing it, go ahead and buy it.

Καλησπέρα! Ερώτηση! Έχω ένα μοντεμ ρούτερ της Cosmote στον 3ο όροφο. Από εκεί έχω κατεβάσει εθερνετ καλώδιο στο ισογειο, το έχω βάλει ρε ρούτερ και ουσιαστικά έχω φτιάξει ένα άλλο δίκτυο με ιντερνετ πολύ καλό και δυνατό, είναι ακριβώς όπως και στον 3ο. Σήμερα προμηθεύτηκα άλλα δυο ρούτερ για να έχω 3 ρούτερ στο ισογειο σε διαμερίσματα. Με μεγάλη μου έκπληξη αντιλήφθηκα ότι ένα καλώδιο έθερνετ δε μπορεί να χωριστεί σε δύο ή τρια κομμάτια με το απλό πλαστικό σπλιτεράκι που τα σύνδεσα. με το που μπαίνει δεύτερη συσκευή σταματάνε να δουλεύουν τα πάντα στο ισόγειο. Διαβάζοντας λοιπόν στο ιντερνετ το επιβεβαίωσα και ως λύση βρήκα το switch (μιας και δεν υπάρχει καμία δυνατότητα να κατεβάσω άλλα καλώδια). Πιστεύετε ότι αυτό θα μου λύσει το πρόβλημα; Και αν μου το λύσει, θα δω δραματικές μειώσεις σε ταχύτητες κτλπ; Διαβάζοντας πως λειτουργεί αυτή η τεχνολογία, ουσιαστικά κόβει ρουτερ, ανοιγει ρουτερ, ξανακόβει κτλπ. Αν και αυτά γίνονται σε κλάσματα δευτερολέπτου, είναι όντως καλή λύση ή θα τα κάνω σαλάτα;
Καλησπέρα. Το συγκεκριμένο switch το χρησιμοποιώ για να "μοιράσω" το ιντερνετ σε PC, TV & playstation και δουλεύει μια χαρά. Πρόσθεσα κι ένα laptop με καλώδιο εθερνετ για δοκιμή και δείχνει ταχύτητες Download πάνω από 47 Mbps (με speedtest) σε 50άρα γραμμή, περίπου ίδια με το pc που είναι μόνιμα συνδεδεμένο. Ελπίζω να βοήθησα.
Το καλωδιο Ugreen NW106 Flat U/FTP (STP) Cat.7 δουλευει με αυτο το switch???
