In no case is it as quiet as it should be, meaning it's not something you can have working during quiet hours or outside the bedroom while sleeping without being disturbed. I have it in the shed to provide power to an air conditioner unit and lighting when the solar panels are not sufficient, and even though it's two walls away from me, it can be heard in the office like a revving car. Other than that, it works well so far, it starts up smoothly, and it looks nice. The only problem is the noise; maybe I should have gotten the same one without the casing to make it quieter and save the 250 euro difference. It also claims to be 7kva when you order it, but on the label it says it's 6.6kva
