[...] Beyond its scientific value, the book covers a significant bibliographic gap, as it sheds light on the motives and goals of the protagonists, as well as the role of Greek and international factors in the unfolding political crisis in Crete at that time, through well-documented events and political analysis. The merits that distinguish the book necessitate its republication. Thus, on the occasion of the centenary anniversary of the revolutionary movement of Theriso and the scientific events that will take place for this occasion, such an important work is once again made available to the reading public.
