One of the best games I have ever played. Story. Graphics. Characters - A. It had it all. Suspense. Adventure. Love and of course anxiety to pass the difficult levels. It has strategy and a logic that makes you think as if you are living it in reality! I loved it!
It is the game that I have enjoyed the most out of anything I have played (over 70 games)! After completion, it has even better content than the game itself! 10/10 and I hope they continue releasing more!
I have the impression that the game has received an upgrade for the PS5 with a steady 60fps and 4K. I have no experience with the PS4 version. The graphics are pretty good, with the only flaw being some abrupt lighting changes. The zombies are a bit monotonous and predictable, but overall they convey the chaos and atmosphere they should. Unfortunately, I didn't like the characters... I found the story predictable, but I still liked it and it generally motivated me to continue playing. I didn't find any bugs in the game except for one time when the motorcycle disappeared and I couldn't find it, so I had to walk to the nearest camp. The sound is a bit unclear. It's not a difficult game, except for the end with the hordes. The excessively small fuel tank of the motorcycle, even after the upgrade, is ridiculous and doesn't add anything to the game; on the contrary, it makes it boring and repetitive. Overall, it's a decent game that is worth your time despite its weaknesses and flaws.

The game is awesome. I really wonder why the developers haven't released Days Gone 2. It was one of the games that I had in my library for a long time. When I started playing it, the first thing I thought was why I hadn't played it for so long. Tremendous story. Graphics and sound are at very good levels. It's not rdr2 but it's really good. Play it, guys. It's truly worth it.
The truth is somewhere in the middle for this particular product. It's neither the best game as some claim, unless you're 15, but it's not completely terrible either. The issue is that it tries, but it doesn't succeed. It becomes boring, repetitive, and most importantly, it has TOO MANY BUGS, which is unacceptable. The characters don't draw you in, nor does the story particularly.
The game, although I knew its theme, the cover never caught my interest, it wasn't much discussed and I considered it "meh".
With the purchase of the play5 about 2 months ago and after finishing The Last of Us, I was looking for another survival zombie game to play. My conclusions about the version I'm playing on March 23, before I don't know what bugs were happening, are as follows:
The game is AWESOME.. I didn't expect it to be this good.
The positives:
- A big story that goes slowly but correctly. It doesn't have a central story from what I understand, but 1-2 parallel stories. I'm around 35 hours in and I'm about 55% through the game, from what I've seen in videos on YouTube.
- The post-apocalyptic atmosphere is very well made, the overall atmosphere with abandoned cars and ruins reminds me a lot of The Walking Dead. Essentially, it's a Walking Dead game in terms of style.
- The environment, landscapes, and weather (rain, snow, fog) are FLAWLESS for me. The weather phenomena are very well made, as well as the landscapes of Oregon with forests and mountains are incredible.
- A huge open-world map with fast travel points that help you a lot, but in such points where you definitely need to drive, it's a delight.
- A pretty nice combat system with a well-made AI. As the game progresses and you level up your skills, the enemies become "smarter" and talk to each other for organized attacks, or the zombies become smarter and try to avoid you when you aim at them, climb, open doors, etc.
- A wide variety of skill trees and weapons.
- A variety of protagonists and characters.
- AMAZING soundtrack, nice American rock that is the icing on the cake with this style of a mechanic-America countryside.
- A very good idea to be safer in the morning while not so much at night. Nice change of music when approaching danger.
The negatives:
- The main thing for me is that you can't change the difficulty level. Even though I started on hard, it seems quite easy to me and if you don't encounter a horde, you're not in danger. I would like to increase the difficulty one level up to survivor, for example, or as it is. The humans don't do much damage and you can heal, the zombies do enough damage and up to 3-4 are manageable, but if you encounter a horde, you have to be like a lobster and it's still difficult.
- Another negative is that it doesn't give you a skill or movement to shoot the zombies when they are very close. On the contrary, if they are too close, the weapons are useless and you need melee.
- Another negative that confuses you is the 3D sound, where you hear zombie screams but you can't tell if they are coming from the right, left, back, or front and you have to search... it confuses you a lot because the sound is very bad, they haven't set up where it's coming from properly.
- There are some points on rocks or high paths where it's the classic problem that the older generation had, where even though it's not very high or steep, you wonder why it doesn't go up that slope or climb the rock and you have to go around. It does not have flexibility in this aspect... you will see points that deceive you and we are used to with vehicles to climb from there, but in days gone you hit an invisible wall.
-In 30 hours, only 1-2 bugs when I crashed into a tree with the bike.
-Another main thing is that 80% of the game is played with the same weapons because they are not unlocked quickly. Personally, I play a lot with the crossbow because you always have arrows since you craft them from trees, etc.
Overall, the game is worth every euro, the few negatives are mostly my personal opinion and may not apply to everyone. Obviously, the game does not have the story of The Last of Us, nor is the mood as serious. It is more fun to play and not as serious, but it is very respectable.
I highly recommend it as it is a gem and I rank it high, having played many single-player games from the PS1-PS2-PS3-PC era
Along with The Last of Us, one of the best games, well-written, with amazing music and many missions. The story is very good, for those hoping for a price drop, the lowest was on the Psstore at 16 euros. Something very rare for this specific game.

One of the most underrated games that have ever existed. What can you say first about this game? The story is very good. The gameplay also involves annihilating hordes of freakers. The music is very good. The hostile environment, you never know where it will come from. The atmosphere is a little eerie. A survival game with everything. This game has it all and it's worth its money.

At first, I was disappointed because I rushed to compare it with the last of us. But no relation. The story is very nice and the characters of the game are awesome. It's not crazy difficult but it's challenging. Good graphics, very nice music, and a wide variety of infected and villains.

Excellent. At first, I struggled quite a bit with the gameplay, but gradually you get used to it. As a story and atmosphere, it's awesome. Perhaps one of the only open world games that I never got tired of. I would really love to play a sequel to the game in the future with better graphics and gameplay.
Excellent underrated game. I didn't expect much based on the reviews, but it impressed me. Very interesting story, excellent characters, beautiful scenery, great gameplay. You can play stealthy or guns blazing.
It's open world and you travel mostly by motorcycle, which is very enjoyable. Some areas are locked temporarily as the story progresses, but in the end, they all become accessible.
Great balance between side quests and main missions.
Perhaps the most standout feature was the zombie hordes (groups of zombies that you have to kill while being careful not to get surrounded). Here, you can either set up clever traps or go all out, and because there are several different points where you can "hit" a horde, you never get bored.
It's a shame there won't be a sequel...

You can't increase the difficulty during the game if you start playing from an easier level. It's not as atmospheric of a game, but it fully satisfies the fans of open worlds, I believe.

It is a game that you get one thing and play another, you know what I mean? I mean that externally you think it's an epic game but when you play it, you quickly change your mind. Initially, it has TOO many bugs and it becomes extremely annoying after a point. Because the story is extremely short (in my opinion, of course) and it doesn't let you enjoy what you have earned with difficulty, like your car when it's at its best, you will be in the final missions, just like the weapons and the trust in the hideouts, everything will be for nothing. And when the story ends, you, who thought of getting it, will abandon it after a week and you will regret abandoning it because now you will have what you want but you won't be able to do anything beyond walks and battles with hordes. A game should be fun, enjoyable to spend your time with, and why not, to finish it. So, from the moment it was patched to 60FPS (not always stable), I intended to complete the main story and collect as many trophies as possible for the weapon upgrades (around 75%). I really don't understand why IGN buried it so much, saying that the missions are repetitive. All games will eventually become repetitive, and in this game, you can do a lot of things! I won't dwell on it, I enjoyed it compared to, for example, Tomb Raider, which disappointed me. I played DG on hard mode for a little extra challenge. Give it a chance, especially since it's free on PS5 plus.
I am obsessed with open survival games, so I consider it one of the best games I have ever played. And I have played many games since 1999 when I started gaming consoles.
I have no words, amazing game (especially if you have seen Sons of Anarchy & The Walking Dead). First time I finish a game and I play it again and again!! I won't write about the gameplay and such, the previous ones have already said it all. In the end, they surprise you with a Lewis Capaldi soundtrack and it captivates you!
Five stars are not enough to describe this epic game. At first, it may seem a bit boring, but gradually you get into the story and it has an amazing plot. Countless hours of gameplay and suspense, especially when you are being chased by hordes. Each horde is different. I have to admit that it used to crash frequently at the beginning. Now they have fixed it and it rarely freezes. It has great graphics and the idea of moving around on a motorcycle makes it incredible. You can bypass some missions and play them whenever you want. Personally, I have unlocked all the hordes and saved the game, so with a load, I can play any horde I want. This is because the essence of the story is the hordes, each one being unique and there are different ways to deal with them. In the game, there are missions such as playing the game, rescuing hostages along the way, destroying horde nests, and many other things to do. Beautiful landscapes, exceptional graphics, very nice gameplay, although the sound sometimes fails, making you think the enemy is close but you don't see anyone. Note that as the game progresses, you can upgrade your character and acquire skills because the game gets harder. You also upgrade the motorcycle. It reminds me a bit of Far Cry Primal because you gather animal meat and herbs. Generally, if you are a fan of Resident Evil-type games, you will definitely enjoy it. Especially now that the price has dropped below 20 euros, it's worth buying. For fans of such games, you will definitely enjoy it, and be sure that you won't play it just once.
