Owner of this soundbar for a week now. I must admit that it is worth every penny and more! Powerful sound with a strong bass from the subwoofer. It transforms your TV into a cinematic studio! I am very satisfied and highly recommend it! I noticed a problem with the connections and to be more clear, on an Android TV, it is better to connect it with an optical cable for crystal clear sound and lively sound effects. However, on some Android TV applications such as YouTube, the sound did not work with the optical cable. I solved this problem by connecting the soundbar to the TV via Bluetooth. For those who have issues with specific applications such as Cosmote TV, I found that connecting the soundbar with the cable that comes with it to the headphone jack of the TV solves the problem. The sound quality is not as good as with the optical cable or Bluetooth, but it works without any issues. I hope this helps, feel free to ask me any questions!
Unfortunately, before I bought them, I only saw the positive reviews that came out first and I didn't get to read the rest that many said that the speakers stopped playing. The same thing happened to me after 10 days of use, without even turning up the volume. Suddenly, I heard a bang and the speakers didn't play again. As for the remote control, it is unacceptable, it's like it's fake from the dollar store. Tomorrow, I will talk to the company since it is still under warranty to see what will happen... and I will update here.
Very easy connection, greatly improved the sound of my TV (Sony Bravia) both in the apps where I watch movies and in those where I listen to music or podcasts. Very good value for money with the quality of the soundbar.
One of the best purchases someone can make for a vfm soundbar, my 4 friends have had it for many years and I got it too, everything is working flawlessly for now
Quite satisfactory for the sound I want, it's worth the money because you can split the bar in two, easy connection with optical. The only thing that bothers me is that the volume from level 2 to level 3 is very high! I mean, if at level 2 the volume is normal, at level 3 it doesn't go to loud but to very loud! No matter what adjustment I try to make, this doesn't get fixed. This disappointed me quite a bit.
1st day of testing: the sound from the optical doesn't work properly for me. The sound is loud but not much louder than the TV speakers, but it doesn't lose quality like the TV speakers do. I would like them to have a stronger sound; with a few tests, it doesn't blow me away for movies, etc. I feel it's a level up for the TV sound but not something extreme
I will give three stars because I think the price is a bit high for their quality, then I will say that I didn't love the sound, okay. As for the connection, I connected them via Bluetooth directly without any problem to my LG OLED CX TV. Now, as for the cable, it didn't come with any cable, not even HDMI or anything else, and also it didn't have any screws to hang it with the wall mount if I want. I liked the subwoofer, but the sound is average. If it was cheaper, I would give it 5 stars, like at 80-90 euros max!
Very nice and powerful speakers with clear sound and easy connection. Nice design and bass. Unfortunately, in my package, the aux cable and remote control were missing.
Very good product for its price. The fact that it "breaks" into 2 makes it very flexible in terms of placement. Easy connection in general, my only issue was with the connection of its optical fiber, which essentially requires knowing how to properly adjust the respective television to receive the output from there. Overall, value for money.
The only positive thing about this thing is that it breaks in half and you can throw it in two different trash cans. Huge delay in movies and gaming via Bluetooth, the optical no matter how many attempts were made, never connected. Terrible product, I wonder how some people praise it..
Crystal Audio CASB240
Great value for money soundbar!! I bought it on 5/3/2024.
I have read in several comments about connection problems, which do not apply to me at all. Initially, it does not have an HDMI connection as several people mention.
The connections are as follows: AUX, Bluetooth, Optical, USB.
The connection process I have done is as follows:
1) I connected the soundbar with AUX to a Sony Bravia 50" (headphone jack).
2) From the TV sound settings, I selected the audio system and the sound now plays through the soundbar.
3) I did not encounter any problems with sound playback from TV, EON TV, YOUTUBE, NETFLIX. Everything plays normally with the AUX connection.
I am very satisfied with the sound quality, it has clear sound and you can even notice the Bass when it is at 0.
Bluetooth works equally well in a test I did with my mobile phone.
I have not yet tried Optical-USB.
I have placed them in a living room of 35-40 sq.m. and the sound fully covers the space.
Time will tell about durability.. Great value for money!!
I bought the soundbar over 4+ years ago. It still works as if it just came out of the box! Clear sound, powerful bass, easy to connect in many ways, and beautiful design. The only negative is that it doesn't show the volume level with numbers, but the volume goes up and down in "steps"... a minor flaw compared to the other positives!
So I was excited about this specific soundbar after watching a video on YouTube by unboxholics, so on Black Friday 2023, I went and bought it. I was disappointed that it has a wired subwoofer because you can't place it wherever you want. At home, I have a Samsung TV from 2019 (many people have the same one because it was on sale, the 55-inch version). I connect it just fine, the channels work fine, I play music fine, I try Netflix, nothing. I try everything, I even factory reset the TV, still nothing, only on Netflix, the most basic thing. A friend who knows about these things comes over, makes some adjustments, and still nothing. He takes it to his house, where he has an LG TV and soundbar set, and it works fine for him. He gives me his to try, and it works fine for me too. I go to the store, explain the problem, they give me a new one from the box, and still the same issues (I even changed the sound on Netflix from 5.1 to regular). I won't bother you with the details, I returned it and got the Samsung Soundbar HW-C450, which for a 50 euro difference, gives you a whole other level of soundbar, plus the Samsung remote is simpler and more direct. I won't even talk about the sound and bass, it's like day and night. In conclusion, those of you who have similar TVs, be careful with this soundbar, don't have the same experience as me.
Connection with AUX caused interference, with HDMI the sound is excellent without any issues. When connected to a computer, it reads as a second monitor
Really value for money. Very good sound even at maximum volume with optical fiber. 4 stars solely for the remote control which is of poor quality. The materials of the speakers are very high quality. Aesthetically, they look like higher specifications. I bought them for 97€.
The soundbar is worth its money up to the last euro. I have it connected to both a Samsung and a Dell monitor. Very clear sound and powerful, one can imagine that I have it at 70% and it still sounds clear and so loud that the sound is unbearable. If you want it for a room and simple computer and music use, it is value for money, for 100 euros it is very good.
I bought the soundbar from a well-known chain, I have returned it twice for service to the main company and now I will take it back for the third time!! The first time, within a month, it started having sound interruptions and suddenly stopped working. The second time, even though they supposedly changed the circuit board, it had sound interruptions again and now I will return it for the third time. Disappointment, because the sound was good.
It is good and powerful. An important thing for me is that it synchronizes perfectly with Bluetooth, as I have used other Bluetooth devices before and they had slow synchronization with the dialogue in movies. The sound is amazing for me, as I am a bass enthusiast. The only strange thing is that even when I have the woofer volume low, it still produces low sounds
Film: The sound is not Dolby or Atmos, nor is it of good quality for the price. It is a louder version of the TV speakers. At high volumes, there is some noise. All in all, it does not have an equalizer, just a few individual alternative settings like 3D (laughable) for movies, music, etc.
Music: The subwoofer has a delay, maybe even a second. The song starts and the bass follows with a delay, resulting in me completely disconnecting the sub and packing up the soundbar for good.
Conclusion: If you want to upgrade your sound, despite being of Greek manufacture, this is the worst purchase you can make. They should have upgraded and released more modern devices since the year of manufacture. Go for something reliable like Yamaha and something that you will enjoy until your old age, like Bose.
I have it for about 3.5 years, the remote control "died" quite early, I can't find a permanent synchronization for the volume with the TV, the best part is that it can "break" into two pieces. Maybe I will change it because I use it a lot with the TV and connected devices. Overall satisfied due to the price (I bought it for 90 euros back then), but for someone who wants different sound profiles, I don't think they will be satisfied
It has a very good and full sound for its price... but unfortunately, the remote control stopped working from the first few days and after 1.5 years, it has an issue with its power supply. The connection is probably worn out and it doesn't make good contact without me having tampered with it much!
On the second day and after working for a total of two hours at low intensity, following a 20-30 second sound test (not at maximum volume), the board burned out. The service replaced it under warranty and I received it today. I hope the incident was just a coincidence. Otherwise, it was a fair purchase for the money.
Good construction quality, nice product for its price. Strong bass. However, the mid frequencies seem to be somewhat nonexistent, making the sound somewhat metallic, a big flaw for anyone buying it for music (if, of course, the buyer has somewhat higher demands).
Positives:
-The patent with the "break" that makes it 2 in 1, from what I searched I couldn't find another model with such a trick!
-The sound is clear, powerful, and the bass is full!! It doesn't distort even when it's at maximum!
So it clearly deserves its money, it would definitely be worth even more!!
Negatives:
-Tragic omission of the HDMI input, and for that I deduct 1 star. (if possible, I would deduct half a star)
(with the jack, it loses quality and slightly decreases in volume since it's analog,
with Bluetooth, it has some interference and a slight delay compared to the image,
while with optical, the downside is that you can't adjust the volume from the TV, so it forces you to "marry" the speakers' remote control. Annoying.)
-The remote control looks and feels cheap
-There is no company application on the play store and in general, you can't see at what level of volume or bass, etc. you are at the moment.
Guys, we're talking about a terrifying value for money. Connected via bt to a Xiaomi box/projector, I've turned my living room into a cinema and 2.1. Some basic and non-basic tips:
1) If you don't want to disturb your neighbor, simply disconnect the subwoofer.
2) If there is interference with the bt, you need to be careful to understand the cause. Apart from the classic ones (i.e. distances, metallic interferences), there are also more tricky ones (which I recently discovered): the frequency of the bt is affected by smart devices/networks that transmit at 2.4mghz. So when I have smartphones, I connect them to 5 mghz. The Xiaomi box exclusively to 5 mghz and that's because it gives trouble to streaming (if I had it on 2.4 it would cause full interference on bt). So if you have full smart devices that all run on 2.4, try to minimize them in your space. I have a smart home kit and a wireless alarm, and everything is fine.
The aux is fine. The optical will definitely be great, I haven't seen it yet.
3) I don't have the experience (the "ear") to understand significant differences with the default modes of the EQ. I just experiment and the result is amazing. Whether I listen to music (electronic, hip hop, classic, jazz, lounge that I've tested) or movies (adventures, horrors, comedies. I suppose in musicals it will be great). But all this also depends on the quality of the files (music/movies etc.).
4) Obviously, the sound must be at the level of your ear when watching movies. When you want music, just let it go crazy.
Obviously, over time it will show and I will come back if necessary.
I won't say anything about the sound etc. as most people have already mentioned it.
I will only add something slightly annoying that I discovered after testing. While it connected relatively easily to the TV via Bluetooth, after disconnecting, the mobile phone cannot detect it. You have to turn off the TV in order to be able to detect it with your phone.
This happens every time!! Also, the same applies always for the last previously connected device, even if you have unpaired it. You have to turn off Bluetooth on the previous device so that another one can detect the speakers.
Καλησπέρα, θα συνδέσω με οπτική ίνα. 1) Ενεργοποιειται με το άνοιγμα της τηλεόρασης;
2) Ρυθμίζεται η ένταση από το χειριστήριο της τηλεόρασης ή πρέπει να χρησιμοποιώ και το δικό του τηλεχειριστηριο;
