Today sees the publication of the book "SYNTAX EXERCISES", at a time when the humanities - and not only them, of course - are facing an unprecedented crisis. However, the philologist, imbued with the essence of ancient light and hope, must be a "homo suspiciosus".
To see trends, tensions, movements where others see stagnation, retreat, relaxation. Every student of the miracle called the Greek language clearly knows that the wheel will turn. Ancient Greek heralds a bright field of glory.
The purpose of this book is to help students of all high school grades and anyone interested to understand and be initiated into the theory of syntactic phenomena through a plethora of examples for each syntactic case. The 4600 examples in the book follow the theory of syntax through the Tables of "ASSOCIATIVE AND FUNCTIONAL SYNTAX OF ANCIENT GREEK" by my inspired teacher M. I. BACHARAKIS. It includes passages, usually original, from all the classical Attic prose writers but also from some authors, dear to me, who write in a simpler Attic language for the needs of the project, as well as - for the first time as far as I know - from the New Testament.
