This book focuses on the main chapters and problems related to the most common grammatical, spelling, ultimately linguistic and expressive errors today.
For this very reason, it does not insist so much on grammatical types and rule enumeration.
Its goal is to rediscover the connection between grammar and language, as a living and evolving organism. Language as a daily need for proper expression, away from verbosity, which unfortunately distinguishes us now, but also from the many linguistic distortions, errors or awkwardness we encounter almost everywhere around us.
Through everyday texts and examples of sentences and expressions, it identifies the most common errors, in order to lead to a rich, flowing and "undistorted" written and oral expression of the language.
It treats grammar not as detached and depersonalized "knowledge", but as one of the pillars in the process of substantial language learning.
It is divided into three main chapters, with a division that was deliberately chosen to provide both autonomy and unity to the whole project: rules and tables - variety of exercises (some less and some more "school-like", to allow for choice) - useful supplementary material. Finally, there is a correction of the exercises in a separate insert.
It is a useful tool and at the same time an educational proposal, mainly for middle school students and teachers, within the framework of the Greek educational system or intercultural education. However, it is not limited to this audience. It is also aimed at adults, Greeks and non-Greek speakers, who, for their work, helping their children, and a thousand and two other reasons, wish for the correct use of grammar and language. It is delivered to this audience, with a willingness for additions and improvements.
