I decided to install a filter as after a long absence from home, I noticed that the water smelled strongly of chlorine.

Well I bought the filter and immediately the water didn't smell. I live in Peristeri, just saying so you don't think it's somewhere far away. The water is clearly cleaner, odorless, and something I noticed about myself is that I don't bloat and don't hurt afterwards. I drink more water. And my daughter said the same... you should have gotten it a long time ago. I recommend it for an affordable solution.

From the first moment, it changes incredibly for the better the taste of the water. In a previous house where I lived, there was an expensive water filter that made the taste exactly like this one! I have it for one more month and I don't know how it will go with its filters. Even if I change them every two months as it says, it will still be much cheaper than the expensive previous one.
Well, I bought the filter two days ago and installed it on the same day I received it. The initial taste was somewhat metallic, as mentioned above. I thought it might be because it's still new. However, the next day it was still the same, and I was curious to see what happened to the filter. I took it out, and within a day it was filled with rust. I went to two experts in water filters, and they told me that obviously the filter was used. I bought a replacement, and it was actually different even in its packaging, with double nylon protection compared to the product I ordered, which had a simple plastic bag. I do not recommend it in any case, as it does not seem to follow any hygiene standards.
Update: After contacting the store, they assured me that such a thing is not possible to happen in the first few days of use and that they have never seen anything similar before, and that it is a defective product. Finally, they proceeded to send a new product
Today I complete 3 months with the Proteas Filter. Incredible product. Very economical. Very clean water, like drinking bottled water. In 1 month, I will buy a replacement for the filter again. Bravo to the company
Very okay for its price. Even though I put it in the toilet due to the special threading of the kitchen, there was an immediate change in the smell, color, and taste of the water. I would buy it again
So far, it works flawlessly, changed the taste of the water from the first day. The only downside is that the filter lasts at most a month and a half.

Very easy installation, requires a tight seal to prevent leaks. I noticed a difference in the taste of the water. As for the durability of the filter, it will become apparent over time.
Very easy to install on a classic kitchen faucet. It has spare parts for installation on both female and male threaded types.
I recommend using the spare parts as much as possible for better application and also applying some Teflon tape on the male threads for even better sealing. I also used a wrench to tighten all the connections slightly (be careful with the O-rings, they don't require much force) and I have absolutely no leaks even with strong water pressure.
If you experience leaks from the filter, check to make sure the cap is tightly screwed on. It screws on tighter than it initially appears.
In terms of water quality, I don't notice any difference compared to the Brita filter jug I used. So odorless and tasteless water, as it should be.

Awesome filter for its price, I have to say I didn't expect it.. I had a double under-sink filter which had a high cost + noise to change the filters (expensive filters!) I can say it has a big difference in taste compared to the more expensive ones I had!.. a big plus is the cheap replacement filter and the option switch for filtered water or not.. value for money!

Easy to install. It significantly improves the taste of the water.
However, when I changed it after two months, there was a red powder at the outlet, which the filter obviously collected. It might be rust or dirt that came out with the filtered water. Maybe it needed to be changed earlier.

I have had the filter for almost 2 years and it hasn't had any issues. During the initial installation, it gave me some trouble because the rubber it came with was too big for my faucet and didn't fit well, causing it to fall off. We cut it a bit and it has been fine since then, it does leak a few drops but nothing significant. The water in our area is very good but it has a lot of chlorine, which is visible in the glass, but with the filter, it comes out crystal clear! The replacement is easy to change and affordable. We change the filter every 4 months since there are only 2 of us and we don't use it constantly. The switch to change it is very easy and what has impressed me is that it maintains good water pressure, compared to other filters I see in houses. Overall, I recommend it, even for a trial since it is affordable and user-friendly.
Just got this specific filter. Quite satisfied, as it has a good metal construction and not plastic. It screws onto most screws and not with a clamp (but they also give you a clamp just in case). Very easy installation, great water flow, and most importantly, the water is better quality from the start. No odors or strange tastes!!!
Quality for its money. Easy installation and smooth switch rotation. Ergonomic and presentable. Fast flow of filtered water - compared to another filter I had in the past. I tested the filtered water with a chlorine indicator and it seems to hold it (the filtered water does not have chlorine). It's worth its money.
