The Prime Plus 1101 SRT UPS On-Line 1000VA 1000W with 8 IEC Power Plugs by Tescom is a Tower UPS. It has 8 outlets of type IEC (such as those for computer power supplies) as well as an input and output for a telephone line, protecting devices connected to it, such as a telephone (provided their power is connected to a UPS or surge protector). Its operation is (VFI) On-Line/Double Conversion which provides continuous power from the battery, protecting against voltage fluctuations and power outages. The battery can last for 5 minutes with full load (when the connected devices draw maximum current that the UPS can provide). It provides pure sine wave power which is suitable for sensitive devices (e.g. medical equipment) and is preferred for devices with active PFC protection (e.g. computers).
