The BBQ3100 gas grill from Bormann features 3 burners, allowing you to have multiple temperature zones on the cooking surface so you can grill different types of food simultaneously. The main advantage of gas grills is that they ignite immediately, reach temperature very quickly, and the intensity of the temperature is adjustable. It has a side cooking burner where you can simultaneously prepare a sauce or side dishes for your grilled food.
Cast Iron Grate & Built-In Thermometer
With the cast iron grill, cooking is faster as the temperature is evenly distributed on all sides of the food. To maintain the cast iron grill before cooking, it is good to spread a thin layer of cooking oil (e.g., olive oil or some vegetable fat) to create a non-stick surface. Additionally, it features a thermometer to monitor the chamber temperature during cooking, preventing food from burning.

I have had it for about 2 years now.
On the positive side, it quickly heats up and grills meat well, such as beef, chicken, and burgers. It maintains a high temperature as long as all burners are lit, otherwise, it requires attention when opening and closing.
Its grill is made of cast iron, a simple cleaning each time and it looks like new, it hasn't worn out after 2 years.
It has several flare-ups with fattier meats because the non-stick grates have a small slope and the fats accumulate there. The material they are made of is certainly to blame.
The grease collection system it has is very basic. It has a tray under the burners where everything that falls spreads out. It doesn't have the drip system that more expensive ones have. It definitely needs aluminum foil, but at some point, the fats will start to spread around without going anywhere.
However, what has completely disappointed me is the quality of the metals. The non-stick grates it has have rusted and gradually developed holes, they basically all need replacement. One burner is also full of rust and needs to be replaced because it will definitely develop holes too. Rust has gradually appeared on the base where the grates (grilling and non-stick) sit.
Do some market research, especially if you don't have previous experience, and take a closer look at some models to make a decision.
Certainly, if I were to buy a BBQ now, I would consider the above and not prefer the Bormann.
Because it is my first gas grill, I hesitated to go for something more expensive... Obviously, it doesn't have the quality of a Weber that costs more. It is a very good value for money grill that will not leave you disappointed no matter what you cook! One important detail... I bought an extra aluminum grill grate that prevents flare-ups, they come in different sizes... I'm not talking about the cast iron plate (I haven't tried it)
Value for money Chinese grill, of course it doesn't have the build quality of an American one but you get what you pay for (it does the job just fine though). Tip: replace one of the grates with a cast iron plate of the same size or larger, which you will place on top of the grates (not everything is meant for grilling, some dishes benefit from the plate), you will also save on cleaning.
For the rotisserie, I give it 5 stars and it's worth it just for that. However, it's not worth it for grilling on the grill as it constantly catches fire. Also, the side burner has no intensity at all, so I can't cook anything there. At first, I thought I was doing something wrong, but after 7-8 months of having it, it's not worth it. The only thing I haven't tried is if it grills with the lid open to be ready when it catches fire. I don't know what else to write, I've researched it a lot in case I'm not doing something right, maybe I got a defective one, but I'm not satisfied at all, charcoal and charcoal again!
Everything is good, very good and high-quality product. The only observation is that the automatic opening of the external eye does not turn on without me using a match.
First time gas grill, I have had it since Easter and I use it quite often (definitely twice a week).
In terms of construction, it is a moderately quality grill, which I believe will satisfy the average user who does not have particularly high demands.
The temperature reaches up to 250 degrees relatively easily with the 3 burners. However, it becomes quite difficult to increase the temperature further.
After each grilling, spend 3 minutes brushing the cast iron and while it is still hot, apply a coat of vegetable oil. This way, it is ready for the next time.
Personally, I clean the inside after 5-6 grills.
Overall, I do not regret buying it, I consider it value for money and the only negative is that it easily catches fire, especially with sausages and fish.
Without having much experience with grills, I think it is very good for its price. Its assembly was not as easy as I thought, but that's a minor issue. It heats up quickly and the meats cook evenly. To avoid hassle with cleaning, you can put aluminum foil in the drip tray to throw away directly. Happy grilling to everyone.
Very good bbq, truly equal to others on the market that are worth 770 euros. I highly recommend it. It is easily cleaned, even the next day. Incredible grilling, juicy meats. Assembly in 45 minutes with just a screwdriver. Easy to move.
I have used it very little (I recently bought it).
Its assembly with ONLY one person and a screwdriver took 1.5 hours, without any problems if your hands are a bit handy.
The overall quality is average but it is quite well finished (smooth edges) so you don't cut your hands during assembly.
The only difficulty I encountered was the pipe and the cable of the side burner (which was folded and not visible). Once I discovered them, I connected them in 3 minutes.
The burners are quite powerful (in 5 minutes the thermometer showed 270 degrees - I didn't go higher but it seemed to increase very slowly from there).
Chicken fillet and 2 burgers became juicy without sticking. The side burner is very strong.
Overall, very satisfied.
You will only need the connection kit (pressure regulator and hose) and a cleaning brush (the one from Bormann with the spatula is very good).
A decent grill with satisfactory performance, cooking space, and the option for a rotisserie. It is easy to clean, as the tray covers the entire surface. I use aluminum foil and it doesn't require cleaning. The bottle I bought didn't fit for three pounds, although it is not recommended to be stored in the cabinet. Lightweight and flexible. The temperature reached up to 270 degrees with the lid closed. I have also uploaded a video for you to see it live at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2izP-eq4r0
Although I have done 3 grills so far, it seems very good, worth its money. I don't know about its durability over time because other grills I had were rotting after 5-6 years and I had to replace them because I couldn't find spare parts. From what I understand, it also takes a skewer. Does anyone know where I can find one?
I consider this to be the most value-for-money option currently on the market. The setup is relatively easy and it takes 2 hours to assemble it by oneself (without any help). The build quality is average, but for its price, it is great. The drip tray for oils and fats fits all dimensions of the grill (it is not a "plate" type like in some others), so no grease falls below. The grilling, even with air or cold, is amazing and the thermometer is very helpful. This specific grill is perfect for a balcony or garden and satisfies both a beginner griller and an experienced one to the fullest extent. Don't forget to purchase the BBQ1008 gas regulator (you can't connect it to the gas bottle without it) and the BBQ1006 cleaning brush. Optionally, one can also get a cast iron plate.
A friend of mine had it and when we cooked together once, I was amazed at how perfectly it grills. I bought it 8 months ago and I have it on my balcony, and whenever I have the opportunity, I grill. Both me and my family enjoy it, the grilling it does is perfect, both for meat and fish, and even the grilled vegetables we eat now. I highly recommend it.
