Some opened early, some like mine took almost three years. But it opened there. If they were sewn and not glued, they would last many more years. Anyway, I bought the exact same ones again. They served me well and their protection, especially in the front, is beyond criticism. The front part withstood the weight of a 700-kilogram pallet and I didn't hear anything at all. Only the thing that covers the leather on top came off. Nothing else.
