I had received a sample in 2019 which gave off a more aromatic-fruity Aventus scent! The fragrance I received now was rougher in sensation and smokier! Of course, the quality of its ingredients is evident!!! Finally, to understand where this fragrance ranks, I would say it belongs in formal occasions, in any case, if I were to wear Terre d'Hermes, I would also wear Aventus! It lasts around 6-7 hours! Moderate projection! The sprayer is perhaps the best I have encountered in a fragrance, creating a large cloud! Is it worth the money? Both yes and no!!! Theoretically, for its performance, no! For its scent, yes!!

Until 2020 it was the most amazing perfect special masculine scent I had ever smelled. Since then, the patches that have come out have a completely different smell, they are not even close to those that came out until 2020 in terms of duration or scent. The new ones do not at all resemble the old good Creed Aventus. The money is too much for this fragrance at the moment. I would have paid this money for it before 2020 with certainty because no one would smell similar to you.

I remember ordering a 75ml Aventus from Spain, and before I opened the mailbox, the whole room filled with a wonderful scent. Whatever the previous reviewers have said is pretty much true. I receive compliments from women, even from women over 70 years old, from men, in restaurants, from neighboring tables, on the street, at any time and anywhere. It is almost certain that you will receive positive comments.
Lucky is the one who has it. I wouldn't change it for anything, but after 2019 it's not the same. The composition has changed, with the smokiness descending to the base and the intensity being reduced. The pineapple has moved to the middle notes, while the lemon is more prominent, not at all comparable to the old version.

Well, to tell some truths...
I got the 50ml, it's genuine, I saw several videos on YouTube on how to distinguish the fake ones (packaging, certificate, cap, label quality, embossed letters, etc). I bought it from a reliable online store, expensive, etc...
Its duration is short, very short though... After half an hour, it smells only if you stick your nose on your hand. And not just to me. Everyone told me they couldn't smell anything, and I had to spray it again for them to smell it.
The scent is somewhat complex, at first it smells like smoky pineapple and then the intensity is overall low and indifferent without personally distinguishing anything specific. However, what I didn't read in any review is that this fragrance, although it was released in 2010, is not aimed at people under 50. Maybe even 55. It is not aimed at the modern male audience, but at more classic mature temperaments... So I leave it on the shelf for that phase of my life... Even then, though, I think a Cartier fragrance or a classic Dior will be closer to my tastes, and much more economical. I am (18 years old) the owner of the fragrance since October 2022 and the review was written in April 2023.
*For convenience, I will write them in bullets*
- It has attracted several women and many compliments.
- It has a distinct/special but nice scent.
- It is definitely very expensive.
- It lasts a long time, but its intensity does not have a long duration, meaning it smells even after 2 days, but only if you put your nose on the skin/clothes.
- In my opinion, it is a fragrance that easily causes olfactory disorder, meaning you don't smell it while it smells to those around you after a while, resulting in constantly changing perfumes and not using only this one.I don't think I would buy it again since I believe there are better options at cheaper prices.

Did you find this review helpful?Clearly, we are talking about one of the most widely known fragrances in the world, a fragrance that everyone seeks, a fragrance that has given me hundreds of compliments from both genders and has definitely acquired dozens of clones (no other fragrance in the world has been copied as much as Creed Aventus).
I don't know exactly what makes it so magical, but I will try to guess by saying that everyone who is captivated by Aventus today is because they have been influenced by the enormous hype that has surrounded it for so many years, that high level of prestige that its name still carries, like talking about Rolex when it comes to watches, for example, or like talking about Ferrari when it comes to cars.
When Aventus was released, it was incredible in every aspect, pure magic. The aura it left behind was capable of seducing women with mathematical precision. Today, the same doesn't happen due to reformulations that have ruined both the scent and its longevity, intensity. Of course, it remains exceptional, BUT when there are so many clones available at 1/10 of the price, insisting on Aventus becomes obsessive and snobbish, it's pretentious, my friend. Unless you have the money, then we all go for it.
Five stars with closed eyes, but mainly for the memories of the older batches and for the success it has had in these 12 years it has been on the market, which, as a fragrance collector myself, makes me highly respect it.
P.S.: I will dare with great audacity (and apologies if someone who is against clones feels offended) to suggest as an alternative if you don't have the money for it, the following:
- Club de Nuit Intense Man Pure Parfum Limited Edition
- Hacivat Nishane (which is clearly cheaper but still over a hundred euros, so if you want something cheaper in combination with Hacivat and Aventus, then Not Only Intense from Afnan is what you're looking for).

And it's not because I got used to it, it was like that from the very first time... It is indeed a nice fragrance, fruity, soft, however for the price it asks for, I would expect something at least with the longevity of the competition or even in less expensive fragrances like for example Hermes that lasts for hours and hours... In short, if you have 3.5-4 hundred euros to spend, I think there are better options even though the fragrance is very personal for everyone, something that is a treasure for me can be terrible for someone else and vice versa... The least you can do before buying it is to go and try it in a store to be sure :)

Purchased from Paris, it has little to do with most fragrances available in Greece, both in terms of longevity and beauty. With the authentic one, your clothes smell for days! And your skin for many hours.
Unbelievably high quality, it is the most hi-end fragrance out there. A mesmerizing extravaganza! Especially if they are older releases because they say they have deteriorated them a bit.
But if you won the lottery, you would wear this fragrance daily. If Louis XIV were reborn, he would wear this...
Be sure that those who complain about quality, beauty, and longevity of the fragrance have bought fakes, even from the best natural stores! This fragrance can only be purchased from a big e-store or from Creed in London or Paris because there is a plethora of fakes, from really bad ones to decent ones. The same applies to those who say that some clones smell better.
Furthermore, those who find significant differences in longevity compared to older batches can be sure that they bought fakes. This fragrance, due to its demand, is subject to the biggest scams, even from big natural stores! When Walmart itself offers a fake without knowing it, you can imagine what happens... The same applies to those who have problems with Terre Hermes or Bulgari or Dior.
The most important thing, pay attention to the embossed serial number on the bottom of the bottle. Watch videos on YouTube with fakes to find the differences in the bottles with the authentic one. Although every skin is different, I don't think it won't suit everyone exactly because it is very heavy and intense, but it doesn't suffocate you like clones of all fragrances, due to its quality. And it has amazing longevity. Unfortunately, with such a price, it is only for a few.

Did you find this review helpful?I have tried almost all the clones of Aventus. Some are quite close to the original, but they "lose in certain aspects".
The Masterperfumer of the fragrance is Jean-Paul Herault, as recently revealed and acknowledged by himself.
The price is clearly outrageous for what it offers, even if you have money...
But let me tell you, no one, I mean NO ONE, will ever be able to replicate this scent, this feeling it evokes in those who smell it for the first time... That combination of smoky pineapple and bergamot that made it legendary in perfumery... Especially the batches before 2020. I doubt if Creed itself will ever be able to produce a successor to the King of Versatility.
I hate that I like it so much, and it truly drives everyone crazy when they smell it, despite its popularity and the various claims of those who say they have it, almost no one wears it in Greece (except maybe in Mykonos during the summer).
I believe that everyone should try it at least once to see how beautiful and fragrant life can be, even if only for a little while.

Now, onto the negatives, there are many copies being sold in Greek stores. I'm not talking about "Aventus-type" fragrances, but actual copies with the same bottle, etc. The only difference is the engraved S/N on the bottle. Also, each batch is a lottery in terms of scent and longevity. I have changed a total of 7-8 batches and unfortunately, I see that the original scent is being lost. Since Creed was acquired in 2019, there has been a downward trend in Aventus. Such a shame, as it was truly a premium fragrance. It's worth checking out Vetiver, Viking, and Green Irish Tweed as well. Each one is unique depending on the occasion.

The smoky pineapple scent in the beginning drove me crazy when I smelled it on myself, but unfortunately, each spray costs quite a few euros. Now it has reached the bottom of the bottle. People I know who have bought more than two bottles tell me that each edition is further from the original releases, that the smoke prevails, and that it is difficult to smell the wonderful pineapple. However, it has moderate longevity and projection considering its price. There are clone fragrances that come close to it at least 95% of the way for a price of 32 euros. The difference in the drydown is very small and it favors Aventus. But its copy has better longevity, 8+ hours, and greater projection. Many choose the copies because no one can tell the difference, but others choose Aventus because they can discern a higher quality aura in the deep drydown.

It's a very nice, balanced, quality fragrance, but - maybe because I had high expectations - I don't think it's worth all the praise or the 300 euros. It's not something that different or groundbreaking compared to other market fragrances. I consider it inferior to its "myth". If it was up to 100 euros, maybe I would give it 5 stars.
For those wondering how it smells, it's quite fresh but can be worn all year round (personally, I don't detect the pineapple at all, even though it's its main note). Don't expect the familiar carefree summery aquatic lemony scent. It's more classic, but in a modern way. At the same time, it has a maturity, so maybe very young ages (up to 30) won't go crazy for it. I believe it ideally suits a well-dressed, confident man over 40.
