Description
The processes of changing male identity, which have recently accelerated impressively, revealing a more internal and private side of man, are becoming increasingly visible at a socio-cultural, family, and personal level and are reflected in the structure and functioning of the family, the couple's relationship, work, and other social relationships.
The book "Man: The Silent Revolution" approaches the emerging, new male identity through various perspectives. The authors observe the modern man on an unprecedented path, silently shedding his armor and questioning the one-dimensional image he had of himself and others had of him. Abandoning his archetypal hegemonic position, he stands at an existential crossroads, where he reconsiders many deeply rooted elements of his traditional self.
Equipped with the interpretive tools offered by systemic science and a broader, holistic perspective, the authors develop theoretical reflections and explore the gradual change in the image of man in Greece and other Western cultures through research material, cinema, and therapeutic processes involving men and significant others.
A book about the fundamental changes in male identity, written by therapists who daily come into contact with the male psyche and have been documenting the silent revolution of men in their choice and reordering of social roles, personal values, and ultimately, the aspirations that give them a new meaning in life.

Reviews
Serious, scientific manual, not strictly academic, understandable and appealing to the average reader, based on qualitative research and extensive practical experience.

Unfortunately, this book exhausted me immensely. Its language is extremely difficult. I believe that the purpose of such a book is to help the reader, not to inconvenience them. I consider it misguided for the author to, instead of trying to speak to the reader's soul, show off their knowledge.
