Elder Porphyrios served with love, self-denial, and extreme humility, serving the sick and the tormented. For thirty-three whole years, he ministered in the chapel of Agios Gerasimos at the Athens Polyclinic in Omonia Square, confessing the tyrannized souls. With his prophetic and insightful gift, he helped heal the bodies and souls of thousands of faithful. Even when he became seriously ill, he continued to pray and support every person who sought his help with all his being.
