What appears is not and what is not appears...

Two old friends, two acquaintances but now unknown men, duel for a woman, the "woman of the Castle" of Heidelberg. She is the woman who once separated them and now unites them. She still determines their lives today, while none of them can be sure that the "woman of the Castle" exists.

In the pages of "Schrodinger's Cat," Einstein's question dominates whether God plays dice. On a vast narrative screen, stretching from Athens to Frankfurt, from the fur shops of Kastoria to the university town of Heidelberg, and from cosmopolitan Zurich to the summer island of Naxos, the literary version of Schrodinger's quantum paradox is woven. When everything that is prior follows its posterior, as happens in "Schrodinger's Cat," the cause separates from the effect, changes the chronological order, and becomes self-existent.
Everything is created and lost exclusively for the "actors" of the story, their actions have no consequences, and time, along with its truths, turns to ashes in the fire of passion.
"Is death as final as we believe?" the troubled heroes of "Schrodinger's Cat" ask, and the author reassures them: "What appears is not and what is not appears."
Following the footsteps of his beloved physicist Erwin Schrodinger, the author Gerasimos Theodosios reveals to the reader that truth, like the "woman of the Castle," is a lost treasure that he must discover on his own, and Schrodinger's Cat is the mythical map that will guide him to it.
