Poetic license is granted to everything. Animals speak, journeys are made to other planets, to mythical places, to different eras... So why not in a conference of chairs? In a conference where the chairs, with poetic license, would speak both about themselves and about those who sit on them?
Of course, the contact with them may be made with a specific part of our body, but this does not limit them from having their own opinions about us.
At the Conference of Chairs, the Participants express their views, essentially dissecting human society.
