Despite being new, the timer has already broken (it doesn't move), but it probably has some setting that "recognizes - counts" the time interval and beeps, at least for now. That was the reason I needed it, so I wouldn't forget. I haven't bought any similar device before, and this one was quite affordable, so the saying "cheap meat" probably fits. I didn't contact the store to report the damage.
