It does not have 375mg of magnesium, it has 75mg of magnesium
(150mg elemental magnesium per 2 capsules, see the photo).
The recommended daily dose is 400mg.
Unfortunately for me, it caused terrible fluid retention. For example: I had an appointment for a lower abdominal examination, I drank 2.5 liters of water, left the examination (30 minutes to get home), went to the supermarket, returned home and everything was still relaxed! I had noticed the retention before when I took them (I go to the gym, always drink one liter of water, come home and still in a relaxed state) but after the examination, I said, okay, something is not right. When I stopped taking them (I took two every night), I saw a big difference. So for me, it's a no-go. I started taking them for mood (especially before my cycle) and better sleep, which didn't help at all, I sleep better without them. So it's definitely not for me. What a pity.
I bought it because I had cramps during my workout. It helped me, but since I took it before sleep, I noticed that although it relaxed me, after a few hours I would wake up feeling overstimulated and unable to fall back asleep. I used to have sleep problems for a period of time and I came to the conclusion that dietary supplements don't work for me. From what I see on the label, it has 2 types of magnesium. One as an element and the other is Bisglycinate, which is a magnesium compound with an amino acid. Bisglycinate magnesium is easier to absorb by the body and has fewer side effects.
The label states that the 2 tablets contain 750mg of bisglycinate magnesium, so 1 tablet actually contains 375mg of bisglycinate magnesium. Also, the 2 tablets contain 150mg of magnesium, so 1 tablet has 75mg of magnesium.
The fact that a large part is bisglycinate magnesium does not mean that when you take one tablet you only get 75mg of magnesium. It means that you get 375mg of bisglycinate magnesium AND 75mg of magnesium. I do not know how much magnesium is actually absorbed. But I do know that this pill is incredibly effective.
It significantly improved the quality of my sleep. I wake up refreshed and live much better. I do a lot more things with enthusiasm and without struggling. I always had a kind of headache (probably from stress?) that didn't go away even with painkillers. Well, with such a pill, the headache goes away and the anxiety decreases, which sometimes reached such a level that it prevented me from putting 7-8 things in a row and starting to fix them one by one.
Overall, it did me a lot of good and I highly recommend it. I will definitely take it again.
The 375mg of magnesium refers to 2 tablets and not one! This specific form of magnesium has high absorbability, which was also evident in the tests I conducted.
It contains 150mg per 2 tablets, not 750 as it states. Otherwise, it seems to be of good quality
I was looking for a magnesium to help me with sleep and muscle relaxation (and consequently with period pains). I take 2 tablets every night, and it has helped me a lot with sleep. What impresses me is that for the last 2 months that I have been taking it continuously, I did not need to take a SINGLE painkiller during my period. I give it 4 stars because I would prefer it to have more mg per tablet, and to help more with sleep. It did not cause me any side effects.
Excellent supplement. I got it for the second time because it helped me a lot with sleep. I take 2 tablets every night before bed. Due to intense exercise, I had high blood pressure and my sleep was light. Now I sleep deeply and rest well. Also, for women to know that it helps a lot with period pains. Initially it is somewhat misleading to write 375mg when each tablet has 75mg of magnesium. However, my main problem is that it is excessively relaxing to the point that if I take it at night, I may sleep well but I feel sluggish the next day. I will keep them only for nights when I want maximum relaxation and rest and I will have almost nothing to do the next day. I did not imagine that magnesium could sedate me so intensely and this specific form probably works in collaboration with glycine and makes me unable to move my legs.
It didn't offer me anything like the Magnesia I had taken. And it also caused me some overstimulation at night when I took it.
Before buying magnesium, ask and read which type you need.
This form promotes muscle relaxation and sleep. However, if you need something for constipation, prefer something with magnesium oxide which has osmotic properties and thus reduces body fluids, emptying the intestine.

For now and 1 month of daily use (morning and evening), I admit that it really seems to do the job. I do 5-6 workouts (cycling) per week and I find the very difficult ones much more comfortable while also feeling more rested. I don't have a problem with sleep, so I don't have an opinion on that.
