The Fourth Book of the Civil Code for Family Law has undergone a series of amendments/reforms since 1982. The author dealt with these reforms both in the general work "Family Law" and in a series of independent studies. The entirety of this engagement, with numerous additions and certain modifications, is presented in this volume.

It is evident - but not unnecessary to emphasize - that the assistance provided by other legal professionals, either through systematic works, monographs, articles and comments, or through judicial decisions, was significant. Without this assistance - which simultaneously constituted a challenge for scientific discussion and debate - any effort would have been rather fruitless.

This work explores Greek Family Law, with the aim of presenting a system that satisfies - to the extent possible - the needs of the theoretical researcher, the practical interpreter/applicator, and the student. It is up to the reader - with the leniency that distinguishes them - to determine if this goal has been achieved.

The structure of the work follows the structure of the Handbook of Family Law, which has been reprinted and circulated since 1983. At the end, there are extensive developments on cohabitation agreements, while issues related to it are also explored in the main work.

The extensive alphabetical index makes the work more user-friendly.
