  Initially, I received the product promptly and quickly from the company.

  Although I used it briefly, I immediately noticed a difference from the previous expensive and good filter I had.

  The water that this specific filter produces is truly the nicest and most delicious water I have ever tasted.

  The filtration pore size is 2 microns, but the quality of the two types of carbon along with zeolite is very good.

  Even in hand, the filter is heavier and more sturdy than other filters in the same price range.

  It has been tested and meets the criteria of NSF 42 and 53 in an independent laboratory.

  The company sent me all the tests and documents of this specific filter, and I will provide a link below for you to see them all.

  ~It fits perfectly in an Atlas countertop filter housing, as the thread is slightly smaller than other filters. I used some larger threads from an old filter to secure it properly. However, the Atlas filter housing is a bit peculiar in its construction because it also accepts other filters with a neck. With the company's and Watts' filter housings, everything is obviously perfect and there is absolute compatibility. Nevertheless, it also fit in the Atlas housing with different threads, and the result impressed me as a first contact with the water.

  Update. I changed the Atlas filter housing and bought the Watts from Prima. It is better, with a full metal faucet and much easier to open and close without needing a key. It seals perfectly with just the hand and without much force.

  Now, the Aquametix needs at least 5 minutes for the water to run in order to clean the carbon from the dust, etc. that it contains, and at the beginning, the water may come out black for 4-5 seconds, which is perfectly normal.

  Regarding performance:
  Prima sent me all the documents by email that accompany the filter.

  Tests,
  WQA certification for lead retention,
  Test by a Greek laboratory for performance testing,
  Test with all the substances that the filter is capable of reducing.

  It is basically one of the few filters that retains all of the following with one cartridge:
  +Lead
  +Chromium
  +Hexavalent chromium >65% retention (almost no filter retains hexavalent chromium)
  +Almost all heavy metals
  +Aluminum
  +Nitrates
  +Ammonia
  +Chlorine
  +Arsenic
  +Fluoride
  +Pesticides
  +Drugs and antibiotics if found in the water

  Usually, you need a separate cartridge for nitrates, another for arsenic, etc., so the cost for multiple stages and cartridges with other filters increases significantly. Here, in the case of Aquametix, with one cartridge, you filter everything, and its price is not that high considering its capabilities.

  And generally, in addition to what I mentioned above, it reduces almost 100 different things. For more information, see the link I will provide below. And almost all of them are reduced by 99%.

  It consists of at least 2 types of high-quality carbon and zeolite. Zeolite, as a mineral, is capable of filtering and retaining radioactive isotopes.

  A very capable filter for areas with major water problems where reverse osmosis is not required, or for individuals who want to drink the best possible water.
