Proper use of Cast Iron Baking Plate: To prepare the plate for the first use, simply place it on the fire and leave it for 10-15 minutes to heat up fully and properly. After the initial burn, the plate is ready for use. For proper maintenance of the plate, you should let it cool completely before bringing it into contact with cold water after use, to avoid cracking or breaking. After cleaning the plate, it is essential to dry it very well and coat it again with a little oil before storing it to prevent oxidation and rust. In case of rust, to restore the plate to its original condition, simply burn it again for about 15 minutes on low heat and scrape it with a soft wire brush.

I bought this specific plate on 23-10-21 for use on a gas stove. Having had a very good experience with cast iron cookware (I have a frying pan and another plate), I decided to get one for my country house. When I went to heat it up after about 5 minutes on the fire, I heard a loud noise and the plate cracked. After consulting with the store, I sent it back for their supplier to inspect. The response was negative, they refused to cover it under warranty, saying it was my own fault.

Perhaps the best move I made in years after many grilling sessions on charcoal BBQ grates. Here I should note that on my BBQ I have an iron base where I can place it so that it has charcoal underneath. Even grilling, it heats up quickly, has two sides, a flat one for burgers, vegetables, or other preparations, and a ribbed one for steaks or fish. It cleans very easily and has a fairly large grilling surface. It was worth its money.

Perfect for burgers, fish, and Gyro. It's average for meats because it's like frying them a little bit. Don't expect the taste of charcoal... be careful not to heat it abruptly, it will go bad. Overall, very good but for a specific job... I recommend it.

Good construction... I put it in the home oven, heat it up to the maximum 250-270°C for about 30 minutes and then I put the pizza inside... ready in 7 minutes. I also use it on the gas stove and you can cook anything you can imagine...
