"Micro-Megas", a gigantic space traveler from the distant planet Sirius, who travels the universe with a somewhat smaller inhabitant of Saturn, accidentally makes a stop on our small Earth in the fateful year of 1737 and, completely unexpectedly, meets a group of distinguished scientists of the human species - who, incidentally, can barely be seen at the edge of his fingernail. The result of all this? A brief but unforgettable interplanetary dialogue from the pen of the "giant" Voltaire, who, besides being a founder of the Enlightenment, may have invented with his Micro-Megas what we now call "science fiction".
