Quality construction, although it remains to be seen how long it will last since I just received it. The grinder is ceramic and can be easily removed for cleaning. The bottom container does not fit very well.
Update: I'm deducting 3 stars because after a few months it started malfunctioning. I use it daily and realized that the spring inside is probably the problem, as the grinding is extremely uneven. I didn't expect this from a grinder at this price.
The mill is possibly the best for its price category (under 50).
Very good construction, ergonomic handle, compact enough for carrying in a backpack, and conical ceramic blades.
The stainless steel container at the bottom is really convenient for transferring ground coffee to V60, AeroPress, or anywhere else.
I wouldn't recommend it for espresso because the fine grind consistency is not the most reliable.
The only negative is that you can never know exactly which stop you are on the grind setting, only empirically.
In any case, I would definitely recommend it for any filter coffee method
Very good for its price. It has the same problems as other manual ones (such as difficulty in precise selection of cutting size) but it gets the job done.
Very good grinder. In this category of grinders with conical ceramic blades, it is one of the best choices you can make.
The grinding is impeccable and the size of the particles is quite uniform. The adjustment of the grinding degree is done in steps and I think it has a total of 14 scales. For filter coffee, we adjust it 5-7 clicks from 0 (I have settled on 6). It can also grind quite finely for espresso in the 1-3 degrees, and it is more than enough for machines with pressurized portafilter, with a double-walled basket (the simple household machines of €50-200). For non-pressurized professional-style machines, it may work on some because it can grind quite finely, but I haven't tried it to say for sure. However, as the grinding degree decreases, the time needed to grind increases.
Otherwise, as for construction, it is very beautiful and gives a premium feel with the stainless steel. The handle for grinding is quite large and the process is done comfortably, without much difficulty. The only possible flaw, if we want to be very strict and look for something, is that the bottom container does not fit perfectly, causing it to move slightly during grinding, without, of course, any risk of the container falling down. It is purely a matter of aesthetics. The taste result it offers justifies its purchase and more.
