For the creation of this work that covers the Treaty on European Union, the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and the Charter of Fundamental Rights, 47 authors collaborated, each in their respective areas of expertise. The purpose of the work is to inform the legal world about all the issues that have arisen from the interpretation and application of the Lisbon Treaty, providing access first to the case law of the courts of the European Union, as well as the Greek courts, and also to the opinions of the theory. Thus, the reader gains a comprehensive understanding of the provisions of the Lisbon Treaty and is able to delve even further into the topics that interest them, as they will be familiar with the positions of case law and science.

The book includes a table of Greek and foreign-language bibliography on the Lisbon Treaty, while the specific bibliography is presented in the individual provisions of the Treaties. The effective use of the work is facilitated by the detailed alphabetical index that completes the volume.
