One of the most interesting books you can read, well-written and scientifically enlightening all the misunderstandings and conspiracy stories that we may have had as a civilization until then. A book that is an enemy of unhappiness

Wonderful, amazing book by a unique teacher! It is (if I'm not mistaken) the last book he wrote (or at least one of the last) when he, tired of the hypocrisy of the modern world, wanted to leave his personal mark, fighting against the foolishness that was circulating then, and still circulates now.
Extremely easy to read and very interesting. Don't overlook it!

No matter how many words we say about Carl Sagan, they are not enough... A pioneer in simplifying the mysteries of the universe so that they can be understood by all people. So that they can understand the importance and uniqueness of Earth, simply because it is the only home we have... An enemy of pseudoscience and charlatans who exploit the pain or naivety of the world to make money.

Perhaps the most important work of the great professor of astronomy and astrophysics, Carl Sagan. One of the greatest popularizers of Science.

Carl Sagan was a scientist astronomer who always wanted to see humanity thinking and learning. This book should be required reading and analysis in high school by all students. It clearly depicts the many personal and social benefits that have been derived from the application of scientific methods in every aspect of our thinking. The methods are the important part, the conclusions are just the icing on the cake. It explores the dangers of unchecked baseless ideologies and how objectivity and admiration are necessary in analyzing things. Almost no topic is left unexamined. I really can't recommend this book enough as it is a light in the darkness, as science is called in the title.

Όχι ιδιαίτερα. Δεν είναι επιστημονικό βιβλίο, απλά ειναι γραμμένο από επιστήμονα. Έχει ωραίες ιστορίες μέσα και δίνει αρκετή τροφή για σκέψη.
