As everyone says, the opening of the classic quality Montale Mancera is full synthetic and needs time to settle down, an aroma for those who want to attract attention and not for those who wear it for themselves, it is unacceptable close to the skin but works well in the air.
The longevity and projection reminds of a room deodorizer, if you make the mistake and spray it in a closed space more than 2-3 times then you will suffocate people.
People who have several fragrances and wear a different one in the morning, another in the afternoon or evening, just forget about it, this one will not come off you even after a shower.
The dry down after 2 hours is something nice but personally I find it pointless, I don't want to put on a fragrance and wait, nor do I want a fragrance to last more than 4-6 hours and trap me. If it falls on clothes? then it will simply smell the next day. Something that would be acceptable if the profile was fresh or blue, however this one is a nighttime winter fragrance and surely no one would want to smell like that at work in the morning or at a gym or afternoon coffee.

Very good lasting power, unlike other perfumes I had where after 2-3 hours they didn't smell at all, Red Tobacco still smells even after 8-10 hours! Very strong, I recommend it

Like Montale, Mancera also offers top quality in their fragrances, and here we are talking about one of the best winter scents. It is sweet, warm, and spicy, standing out from many other fragrances with similar characteristics. As for the opening, I am not very satisfied, but after 10 to 20 minutes, it becomes completely different

In the opening, I give it a 3/5, but it lasts less than 10 minutes and changes to a 5/5 vanilla woody tobacco and spices...on the skin, with 4 sprays, it lasts for 4 hours, with very good projection the next 4 hours, and in the third 4-hour period, it sits close to the skin. On clothes, it lasts for 2 days. Personally, I wear it all year round and in all situations, adjusting only the sprays except for summer mornings.
