With the musical game, the child enters effortlessly into the world of music, conquers its language, expands its imagination, creativity, senses, and emotions, and discovers the ways of expression that suit him/her.

Music is a game with sounds and like all games, it can be an individual or a group game, a mental game or a game with physical participation.

The book hosts a wide collection of music and movement games, which emerged from the author's many years of involvement in Music Education. Many of them are based on well-known traditional games, such as blind man's bluff or broken telephone, while others are original ideas and some are based on ideas from the children themselves. The games, suitable for small or large children, in small or larger groups, are grouped according to their objectives, in six sections:
I. Socialization II. Development of attention, concentration, and memory III. Development of motor skills IV. Consolidation of musical concepts through movement V. Development of creativity and imagination VI. Use of the body as a sound source.

The book is addressed to those who believe that getting to know the world of music and its language is not based on sterile theoretical engagement with various musical concepts. It can be used not only by musicians who teach music to children, but also by preschool and school-age educators and facilitators with less musical training. It is also an important tool for students of Pedagogical Departments, who can be initiated into the methodology and process of performing music games.

The book is accompanied by two music CDs with selected musical pieces for use in various music and movement games.
