The two maps (Prespa - Varnountas - Vitsi and Voras) include border areas of Western Macedonia that were somewhat late to enter the country's tourist map. However, today they are particularly attractive tourist destinations that literally offer everything from recreational activities, nature-loving and adventure sports, such as skiing, mountaineering - the area is crossed by the European paths E4 and E6, 4x4 tours, enduro or mountain biking, air sports, motocross, mountain running, thermal baths, and even swimming(!) in the beaches of Vegoritida and Megali Prespa, and of course birdwatching. In these areas, there are tourist facilities as well as high-standard resorts, such as Nympheo and the old Ag. Athanasios.
