Great inaccuracy in humidity. The dehumidifier (Toyotomi) and the weather station (Life) show 50% humidity, while the Xiaomi device shows 60-61%. It is not a defect because I have 4 Xiaomi devices and they all show the same. The temperature deviation is small.

  It is a cheap room thermometer, quite accurate for simple use (you don't expect to measure the temperature of a fridge-room with degree precision, for example). I use 10+ of these as follows: I compare the difference between the rooms (if it is 1 or 4 degrees, for example / without caring about absolute accuracy, in order to recognize the homogeneity of cooling and heating performance. I also have 3 different ones to verify reliability (for example, if they always have differences of 1-2 degrees and suddenly become 5-6, one of them has obviously gone crazy / perhaps due to a battery drop or sunlight, for example. None of them has ever broken, none has shattered, none has drained its battery very quickly. Also, I never matched them in the app, etc., etc., I take a walk around the [not] huge house and read them, slowly.. I even left one in the car, I "calibrated" all 4 of my (home) fridge's analog ones, nothing happened to them even in the freezer (but then I opened/dried it with warm air to remove the condensation). Finally, none of the 10 (..12?) that I have varied >0.3C in the initial days of testing in different spaces, so I could determine reliability (and even this variation changed among them if I moved them slightly, due to.. a distant window = none had a permanent deviation!!)

  Nice thermometer with humidity measurement that is quite sensitive to temperature/humidity changes. I believe it has fairly accurate temperature values, probably also humidity. Very convenient and particularly small size (depending on what each person is looking for). It doesn't have a light, which means the readings aren't visible unless you have sufficient lighting in the room. However, it connects via Bluetooth to your phone and you can see it from there, plus it shows you the history of the readings from the last few days. Also, without lighting, it doesn't consume much battery. It's 4.5 euros, guys.

It has accuracy in measurements compared to the Life WES-300, (the indicators on the Life WES-300 are on the right side) and have been taken after 35 hours of use. For its money, it is quite valuable and I would recommend it to someone who wants a small and discreet measuring device.
  * The 3M double-sided adhesive is very strong so be careful where you place it because it will be difficult to remove it later.
  * Finally, after 27 days of use, I have to add that, in relation always to the Life WES-300, the temperature indicators have a maximum difference of 1.5* more in Xiaomi, as for humidity, the Life WES-300 ultimately excels because the indicator changes faster and their maximum difference is 4*

  As soon as I put the battery in all 3 that I got, they were showing temperatures of 24 and something while at home it was 19 to 20 degrees and Xiaomi Home couldn't find any. Eventually, what they wanted was to leave them alone until they showed the correct temperature. After that, they recognized all 3. I upgraded their firmware and they work perfectly!

  For a €5 Thermometer - Hygrometer, it's great! Very small, connected easily via Bluetooth with the Xiaomi Home app, I also did an upgrade and its readings are accurate and definitely not +10 in humidity as some mentioned in their reviews (a bit difficult to show indoor humidity as 41 and I have 31). Maybe the upgrade fixed the problem, maybe because I don't have high expectations from a €5 gadget, maybe because I only use it for indicative values and don't store medication or anything else sensitive to temperature/humidity, I don't know and I don't really care, I got it for €5! Personally, I will buy another one for different areas of the house.

  P.S.: I also have a collectible National Geographic weather station that was purchased for €99 several years ago. I consider it sacrilege to compare the €5 Xiaomi with the €99 National Geographic or the €28 TP-Link.

  P.S.2: Definitely do a Firmware Update through the app.

  After 2 years of having it in a humidifier, I realized that something is not right because even though it was showing 79% humidity, in continuous attempts to lower it, it was not showing anything. Eventually, I bought a TAPO t315 which showed me 70% -1% from the analog. It is not a bad product, especially for its price, but it is not suitable for serious work and it needs a second check.   They connect easily to the Xiaomi app and keep an hourly record. At first, they may not be very representative, but over time they will show.

  Because they come from an official dealership and with Greek warranty, I put a label on them so as not to confuse them if something comes up.

  Their numbers are very close. In degrees, they play around +- 0.2 if you leave them for an hour in the same spot and they balance out, while humidity is within +-1%.

  The negative thing I see is that you have to be close with Bluetooth for it to update the data in the app. I imagine it's because they have a small battery (cr2032 not included) and they have limited the updates to save battery life. I read that with the Xiaomi hub, it would constantly receive updates, but I don't have it to try. I hope that at least if I go once a week, I will get the statistics and it won't have a small memory.
