The entire life of Kang is a miracle. He managed to escape poverty and become the director of a successful construction company. When he is diagnosed with a very serious illness, he returns to his old neighborhood, the Hill of Cherry Trees. He buys an old house where he plans to retire, away from the world, but the residents of the area have other plans. They seem determined to invade Kang's property.
