VERY GOOD. I had the Steinberg UR-22 MkII, which had sound problems, possibly not working well with Windows or the specific device I had. I have had the Steinberg for about 6 - 7 years. However, I consider the latest models to be better. The Audient, on the other hand, is better in both headphone and speaker output than my old Steinberg, and it also has higher volume in the headphones. I still need to try it for recording instruments, thinking that it will be better there as well. I highly recommend it. It may even be the best sound-wise in its price category. It does not have MIDI input only, something my old one had.
