Although the focus is on the military events and the leadership figures, the importance of the participation of all the forces of the nation is not overlooked, a nation determined to conquer its freedom at any cost and in defiance of any obstacles.

1827: The Committee for the National Accounts, which had been established to control the finances of the revolutionary nation, sends all the relevant information regarding the national accounts to the Third National Assembly. Among other things, it stated: "The Committee, having observed that the National Registers are adulterated and full of abuses, forgeries, deficiencies, errors, and irregularities, was obliged to..."

"Odyssey"
1822: Odysseas Androutsos, having signed the (supposed) submission, sends a letter to Mehmet Pasha, presenting the reasons for the uprising of the Greeks. He writes: "The great injustices of the Vezirades, the Katides [...] whenever they liked a girl or a child, they sent for them and took them [...]. Whoever had a good piece of land [...] they would kill him and take it from him [...]. Now, Your Highness, write a report to the King to lift all these injustices from the Christians with Hatı Hümayun, and then we will be at peace...". To make himself believable, he sent four insignificant elders as supposed representatives of provinces to pay homage.
