The MX Keys, the tool to perfect your next big project. It is the first MX keyboard designed for creativity and built for programming. If you can think it, you can perfect it.
Logitech leveraged decades of experience with Perfect Stroke keys to ensure that every keystroke is smooth, natural, and precise.
The spherical shape of the keys matches the shape of your fingertips, and their rounded edges provide satisfying feedback — no matter where you press on the key. Each key has a matte coating so your fingers can glide easily over the surface.
Enjoy with exceptional stability
Type with confidence on a keyboard crafted for stability and precision. The increased key stability reduces noise and improves responsiveness, so you feel—but don’t hear—every keystroke. The chassis of the MX Keys is built on a single metal plate, providing an exceptionally solid construction that won’t slide around on your desk.
The smart lighting. Even smarter
Proximity sensors detect your hands, illuminating the keyboard the moment your fingers approach it. The backlit keys turn off when you move away from the desk, saving energy for moments of inspiration.
The intensity of the backlight adjusts automatically to the prevailing lighting conditions, and you can also adjust it manually.
Rechargeable via USB-C
The MX Keys stays powered for up to 10 days when fully charged or up to 5 months with the backlighting turned off. Use the USB-C charging cable to recharge it.

The keyboard so far (3 days) is flawless, the Logitech software (Logi Options+) DOES NOT support Windows 7 - it doesn't let you install it, it requires Win 10 or 11. The previous version (Logitech Options) does not recognize the keyboard. So if you have Win 7, you cannot make any adjustments to the keyboard. Logitech should have mentioned this BEFORE the purchase!
I decided to write a review mainly about the wrist support, because the other reviews say it all.
I switched from a mechanical keyboard to a membrane one due to work. I was thinking a lot about whether the extra 20 euros are worth it, and they definitely are.
It is a simple, good quality wrist support, priced around 20-50 euros, so this one at 20 euros is really good quality.
Even though it is quite low profile, it is very comfortable and gets the job done.
The keyboard is amazing, it has a great feel for me, go for the full version!
I will not tire with a lengthy review. I fully agree with what another user said on 09/12/2021.
I would like to add that the keys are excellent. Each press is "tight", with confidence, clicky, without making the annoying sound (in my opinion) of a mechanical keyboard. The backlighting is incredible, personally, for me, who usually doesn't read with many lights on, or even to watch a movie/video, it has been a lifesaver, you don't have to search for where things are. As soon as your hand reaches there, it lights up, you see it clearly, and then it disappears again in the darkness. Heavy, metallic, high-quality frame.
- Yes, all of this sounds great, but Nick, is it worth it? Is it expensive?
- Well, my friend, if you look here (instead of a €20 mouse and keyboard set), you have a reason. If you spend many hours on the PC and type, read, and don't like to compromise, it's worth it, it's comfortable, it saves your hands.
As for the wrist rest... well, I haven't used it yet, it's not necessary, the keyboard is low profile enough that it's not (for me, at least) necessary. If you're not sure, check what the average user says and act accordingly. Without it, you save some money, but if you need it, you won't have it.
Very nice feeling on the keys. The little bumps on the keys help the finger find its target. If you also know a good blind system, then the experience is elevated!! Also, it is well constructed with good quality plastic. The lighting is minimal and relaxing. I believe every keyboard should have lighting now.
The fact that it can connect to up to 3 devices simultaneously is very practical. So, if you have a desktop, a laptop, and you need to use them at the same time, then your hands are free. (even for mobile). The keyboard shortcuts are conveniently placed. It has shortcuts for calculator, print screen, right click, and PC lock. Of course, through the logi Options application (which you download from the logitech website) you can assign a completely different function to each of these keys (as well as for the function keys f1 to f12). For example, I set the print screen button to "open" the sniping tool instead of simply taking a screenshot of the screen, because it is more convenient for me to select the section of the screen that I want to capture. Also, with the "right click - menu" button, I chose to open the windows explorer. Everyone can adjust it to their liking.
Regarding the wrist rest, it is actually good to have it even on low-profile keyboards like this one. I tried to write a bit without it, this review, and it felt uncomfortable to me.
Overall, it is a bit expensive, meaning it is not something someone would buy if they just want a keyboard. It is for someone who wants a premium touch experience and a durable low-profile keyboard from a good brand, quiet and relaxing to type on.
I recommend having the correct body posture in the chair in order to elevate the typing experience.
