The idea to write, conversing with Manos Eleftheriou, the (fictional) story of his biography came to us like beautiful ideas come. By chance, on an August evening during our shared vacation in 2010. We had already known each other for a few years, having developed a friendly relationship. But we knew him well, many years before this acquaintance, through his work, which had marked our youth. When we revealed our intentions to him in September of the same year, he didn't give a clear answer. He simply said, "I'll be waiting for you on Sunday at 10:30." So, for the next three years, we would meet on Sunday mornings at his house in Nea Psychiko, and he, sitting in his armchair, inspired by our questions, let his memory flow effortlessly to places where memory and emotion took him.
