No matter how hard you spank it, the grounds still seem to trickle out when there's nothing there to catch them. The direct-to-cone option is great because, let's face it, freshly ground coffee is 80% static electricity no matter what machine you use. That's what makes it so invigorating. That, and the spanking.

From the 39 grind settings, I have settled on the 3rd finest as the coffee does not get muddy there. Great for its price, I do not regret at all not going for a cheaper solution as a beginner in grinding!

I just received it and tried it. It definitely worths a lot in terms of money. The grinding level is undoubtedly satisfactory. And the big plus is that it has a built-in screen with a scale. To be honest, I think the scale is not very accurate, but I don't believe it plays a tremendous role. I highly recommend it for someone who has a home espresso machine and wants freshly ground coffee!
