The papadiamantiko work is chosen with our history, our culture, our genuine tradition and our future. It is so great and important because it is alive. It is one of the most genuine national forces from which constant strength, courage and optimism arise. As such, it can be considered a valuable national treasure of the Genre.

The present study aims to be useful and welcome both by the youth (students and scholars) and by the world of intellect, on the one hand by converting the original text into modern Greek speech and on the other hand by presenting the author's enchanting world.
