Sikaflex 298 FC is a slightly thixotropic, polyurethane-based adhesive material, a one-component product that cures with atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomer. Sikaflex 298 FC meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organization.

It is suitable for bonding deck coverings made of composite materials and resins (except polyethylene, polypropylene) and for installing and sealing wooden planks such as teak on the deck surface. Suitable substrates include GRP, marine plywood, aluminum with anti-corrosion coating (epoxy or polyurethane - acrylic based) and stainless steel.
