I have had the cage for 1 month and it accommodates a chinchilla of about 2 years old. It is a particularly spacious cage with a very nice interior layout that provides space for the animal to move comfortably. It has an excellent price compared to similar cages of the same size and is definitely value for money. However, it has a significant disadvantage in that its plastic parts are particularly soft and thin. The result, in my case where I have a rodent with strong chewing (chinchilla), is that in a few days it has not only eaten/destroyed various plastic parts of the cage but the worst part is that it has already gnawed a piece of the plastic base of the cage (the gray tray that holds the bars) and I have already had to find ways to patch up the cage so that the animal does not "escape," and this is a big headache.... If someone were to use it with another animal that has less tendency to chew on the cage, then yes, I could easily give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, in my case and from my own experience, 3 stars is the maximum I can rate it.
