It can be installed either on the shower or directly on the bathroom floor.

Measure from one side of the shower stall to the other, that is, from one wall to the other. 

Then measure the height, from the base of the shower stall (where the partition will stand) to the point you want it to reach. In any case, there should be an opening at the top to allow steam to escape. Ideally, there should be a distance of at least 15 centimeters from the ceiling.

Note: You can measure the distance from one side to the other at 3 points to account for the possibility of a crooked wall.
