I have had it for about a month, purchased it for work and basic gaming, and it is very good for both. It is also very comfortable. I consider it an ideal choice in the mid-range category and at this price.
Externally, it is very elegant, especially on the back, and can easily fit in a modern living room or a reception desk that receives visitors. It is made entirely of good quality plastic and has a light gray color on the back, slightly lighter than in the photos. The base is also made of plastic, has a silver color, and is very stable and non-slip. The build quality is generally good, although there are 1-2 minor application flaws (around half a millimeter) and I struggled quite a bit with the power plug, which requires a good push or some maneuvering to fit properly, otherwise it makes a buzzing sound and flickers the screen, which can pose some risks.
Assembly and setup are done without tools and literally in a few seconds, as the design in this aspect is quite clever. The base supports the monitor well, and it is unlikely to move during work or small impacts on the desk. The height is sufficient and adjustable, but only from the top of the base and downwards, so for a perfectly ergonomic height, it may require mounting on an arm (there is a VESA mount). The monitor has a good range of tilt upwards-downwards and sideways.
In essence, the image quality is very good. There were no problematic pixels. The plastic bezel around the screen is practically non-existent, but there is a black margin of 6-7 millimeters on the left, right, and above the image, which may be bothersome when placing two screens side by side. The difference between QHD and FHD is noticeable, and for me, who didn't have a QHD screen before, the "wow" moment came from the first moment the computer turned on. The colors are vibrant and remain consistent from all viewing angles, while generally being true to life. Of course, it is not a monitor for graphic designers with 100% color accuracy: in the default setting, they seem somewhat warm, and I have noticed a slight brownish tone in some grays, but there are various color presets (including some specifically for gaming, RPG, FPS, etc.) as well as the ability to individually adjust the R, G, and B channels. The surface of the screen is anti-glare (and has an additional coating for durability according to Dell) and, although it could be slightly more matte, I have no problem with light and I work comfortably with a bright balcony door 2 meters to the right. The 27'' size is comfortable in terms of space and easy on the eyes because you don't easily perceive the bezel, although I have noticed that a 27-inch monitor is indeed larger than a 24-inch one, but not dramatically, so if you feel like you really need a lot more space, it may be good to go for a 31''.
The menus are generally easy to navigate, as are the buttons, although, like with all monitors, it takes some time to get used to them. The connections are good, with 2 HDMI ports, although there is no display port for connecting to another monitor. The 2 USB ports may be a bit limited, but there is room to possibly add a small hub at the back (we won't discuss using a Dell docking station because they are very expensive). The sound signal from the audio output is very loud, clear, and enjoyable due to HDMI, but the negative aspect here is that the connection plug on this output does not "cut off" the speakers and the sound continues to be heard from them, where the only way to prevent this from happening is to completely disable the speakers from the screen menu. The speakers, like most monitor speakers, are just decent; personally, I use them for system sounds and other basic tasks.
The monitor was purchased for long hours of text work and so far it has proven to be a very good choice and very comfortable in this role. I also use it with the PS4 Slim, which only provides FHD resolution and not QHD, without any problems, and in fact, the experience is much better than the 24 FHD I had previously, always for gaming with moderate demands. Finally, an additional positive aspect is the low power consumption, 18 watts compared to the 16 of the 24'' I had. Overall, it is a well-crafted product and I highly recommend it for both work and light entertainment!
