The Alfred Basic Piano Library offers nine consecutive beginner series aimed at preparing students of all ages for a successful music learning experience. With the exception of the Basic Adult Piano Course, which is comprehensive on its own, all beginner series can be interchanged at various levels and lead to the Alfred Basic Series, which is completed at level 6 (total of 7 levels). 

Therefore, this series is the most flexible compared to any other method, allowing the teacher to personally design a customized program based on the age and needs of each student. Upon completion, the student is ready to begin playing the great piano masterpieces.
