We are the happiest family in the world!

Dad sometimes hits me with a belt. Once, I saw in a Greek movie someone hitting his son like that. Since then, every time my dad hits me with the belt, I feel like a movie star.

Mom keeps nagging me to study because my grandparents didn't have money to send her to school. Once, I told her that if she wants to go to school since she missed out, she should go and I would stay home and play housewife. She slapped me. I'll talk about my siblings another time because I'm bored now. Anyway, they don't live with us like normal siblings.

I have the best friends in the world! Thanasis is my best friend and he sits next to me at the desk. We like to play many games and some we don't talk about, we keep them a secret. He doesn't let me talk about them because the last time I did, we got beaten. Then there's Athina and Sophia, who also sit next to each other in our class. Athina is strong and they call her a tomboy, and Sophia wears glasses and is wise like an owl. We love each other so much! I love Thanasis, Thanasis loves Athina, Athina loves Sophia (but doesn't say it), and Sophia loves me.

We are the best students in the class! I am because I copy from Thanasis, and Athina because she copies from Sophia. Sometimes, though, Athina forgets to change things. Once, she copied Sophia's exact essay. When the teacher asked what happened, I jumped in and said: "Great minds think alike!"
